Charles currently occupies and secures a property located in Forest Hill and has been doing so for the past 4 years. He knew the previous Guardians who secured the property and gladly took over when they moved out.
Charles' profession & why he loves what he does...
Charles is a multi-instrumentalist who predominantly focuses on his contribution to the band he is a part of, the ‘Framingods’. An alternative psychedelic group who would usually be found on tour or recording this time of year.
Thankfully, Charles is a man of many talents. He is also a skilled video editor and an animator, so has been working remotely for clients during the pandemic.

About Charles’ property & why he enjoys co-living...
Charles lives with three other Guardians who are close friends of his and which he actually grew up within Bahrain.
All have known each other for a long time, have travelled together and have produced music together for a while now. Charles states “It’s super easy living together” We are delighted that Charles is able to enjoy his Property Guardianship experience to the fullest, with friends who are virtually family.
Types of people Charles feels would benefit from Guardianship…
“Someone who is looking for an affordable arrangement” and “someone who doesn’t have a lot of things (belongings), making it easier for them to move around”.
Advice from a current Property Guardian…
“Like with any living arrangement, just be respectful and mindful of your fellow housemates and look for ways to improve your living experiences, for example, making small improvements to wherever you’re living along the way. Even though it’s technically a temporary arrangement, I’ve always found that making improvements has been great for my personal mental health, especially over lockdown. It has also made the house a really great place to be in”.
Temporary improvements such as putting up free standing photo frames and adorning your living space with rugs and ornaments can be a great temporary way to brighten up your space.
