33 year old Global Guardian, Janna Finch, has been protecting properties with Global Guardians since 2017. Jenna currently occupies and protects a property in South West London which allows for an easy commute to her place of work.
Jenna is a ‘Key Worker’ and continues to work throughout the current Coronavirus pandemic. In her role as an Art Therapist, Jenna continues to provide help and support to local community members who are in mental health crises. By using the healing powers of art, Jenna is able to facilitate sessions where people who are struggling with their mental health can express their thoughts and feelings openly and creatively.
Like most people, Jenna’s work has been impacted by the recent Coronavirus outbreak but that has not stopped her from being there for the people she serves in her role.
Jenna commented on the current situation saying, “I can have no face to face contact with community clients, forcing us to be creative with at-home video sessions. On the wards we have to take extra measures to ensure safe contact, including wiping down all the art materials after every session, modelling safe practice like social distancing and wearing PPE”
She went on to say, “I am very proud of what I do. I wouldn’t change my job for the world and still love every minute of it. I'm also proud of my colleagues who have pulled together to support each other every day.”
When contacting Jenna about this article she stated that being a Property Guardian with Global Guardians and saving 50% on normal London rental prices has meant she can afford to stay living in London and therefore can continue to do the job she loves, providing support and respite to vulnerable members of her local community.
We are very proud to have Jenna Finch represent the Global Guardians brand as one of the hundreds of Key Workers who reside in our managed properties.
