Too many cases of homelessness and too many vacant buildings. We can help with one logical solution: our Property Guardian Protection.

The Metro has revealed a number of shocking empty property vs homelessness statistics in a recent article. Could our Property Guardian protection service be a part of the solution?
The article highlights the increasing number of properties left vacant in the UK year on year, in comparison to the families left homeless, which is also continuing to rise. Currently, “500,000 homes are sitting empty in the UK while 100,000 families are homeless” (Metro, 2020); This issue becomes particularly pressing given the cold winter months and current Covid-19 pandemic.
Not only are empty properties being left vulnerable to break-ins, criminal damage and squatting, their function is also being wasted. Right now, society is struggling against Coronavirus as it impacts their lives, snatching people from their jobs and homes. It is now more than ever that we need to make use of empty buildings to provide support for disadvantaged and in need people.
We agree with the Metro’s statement, that ‘keeping half a million homes empty in the middle of a housing crisis... simply makes no sense”.
We have helped accommodate over 3000 Guardians who have benefited from the Property Guardianship service. With so many more people to help, we are determined to take on and protect more properties that our Guardians can also benefit from.
If you have or know of anyone possessing an empty property, we would encourage everyone to look into our Property Guardian protection service to see exactly how it can benefit you and the people who need it most. 24/7 occupational security for a vacant building and a chance to do good by putting a roof over someone's head.
Buildings do not need to be furnished, completely modern, or up to scratch for us to secure and manage them. We will ensure that properties are brought up to living standard as a part of their management.
