Global Guardians Secure a Castle!
Posted on August 1, 2013
Global Guardians Management Ltd is pleased to announce that we are securing a castle that is in the process of being refurbished.
As part of our Guardian Solution we have provided a free-of-charge security service as part of our charity work, to protect a nationally-listed Grade II* building presently on English Heritage’s Buildings at Risk register.
Described as ‘an eighteenth century gothic tower built by heartbroken widow in a clearing, high on a hill, in an ancient bluebell wood, within seven miles of London’, it is our great privilege to be involved in this security project.
Our Logistics Director Stuart Woolgar has stated:
‘One of the things that sets us apart in the security industry is our ability to think outside of the box and act quickly to secure vacant properties. As soon as we knew that the preservation trust needed to secure a national treasure we acted immediately. We came up with the best solution for the Trust to ensure that the specialist building works could continue unobstructed, and we could prevent further break-in attempts.’
‘Since we have taken over security for the site all anti-social behaviour has been removed.’
‘It is great to know that we will be playing our role in helping a building at risk become restored to its former glory.’
When the site is restored to its former glory we hope to see many visitors enjoy the local woodlands and the castle.
