Since our foundation in 2011, Global Guardians has valued diversity and inclusion. Embracing differences is part of the way we do business, and is essential to our success as a leading property guardian company with a growing portfolio of empty buildings and property guardians.
We manage property guardians from all walks of life, who have come from a diverse selection of countries and cultures, and we value their diversity. This is one of the main reasons why we chose our name as ‘Global Guardians’ because our property guardians, staff, contractors and clients are from all over the world.
Diversity and inclusion are closely tied to our core values and our strategic business goals, so they are embedded into every facet of our business.
We believe that we have a workforce that truly reflects Britain’s diversity. This is essential to our hiring decisions. However, merely having a diverse workforce is not enough; we also look to make our workplace more inclusive as well.
The reason for inclusion is that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Therefore, to gain the most from our diverse staff members we aim to make everyone feel welcome and motivated to work their hardest and progress with our company. We work better together because of our differences, not despite them.
We strongly believe that a diverse workforce in an inclusive environment will improve individual and organisational performance and result in better value to all stakeholders.
We created and implemented our Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy in order to improve performance through diversity with regard to all of the areas covered by the Equality Act 2010.
